The PRIME method
1) Start by constructing the value tree
2) Rank the alternatives with respect to the attributes = ordinal ranking of consequences
3) Enter a preference statement
- cardinal ranking of consequences
- objectives‘ and attributes‘ weight assessment with a SWING extension
- holistic comparisons
- ordinal and/or cardinal ranking of consequences with regard to the objectives
4) Examine the updated absolute and pairwise dominance structures
5) Iterate through steps 3-4 to reduce the set of nondominated alternatives
